The Constant can absolutely be called a blog, but it may be more accurate to describe it as an unsorted archive of thoughts – some long, most short – on topics that grab my attention.

And who am I? A struggling novelist* who looks to analyses of history and politics for inspiration. History does not repeat itself, but its tropes certainly do.

*As of 2024, Lance has yet to actually publish anything.
